in the city
On Monday, I finished and handed in a paper ("From Identity to Coalition: Feminist Subjectivity and Agency in Judith Butler's Politics") for my last graduate seminar, caught part of my friend's thesis defense, made some goodbye-happy-holidays phone calls, packed, and had martinis with Sarah and Dorian.
On Tuesday I rose at the ungodly hour of 5am to catch a flight to Toronto. I made it to Teri's, and we went for some thai food (her: mango chicken; me: red curry shrimp and pineapple). Then we checked out the Lexiconjury at their sexy new (well, new to me) digs in the back of the Cameron House.
It's good to be back in the city. Today I'm catching up on sleep and jetlag, and will maybe meet a friend for lunch and do some Christmas shopping.
