Montmartre, Paris

(You wouldn't know it from the photos I've been posting, but I've been back in BC working and studying for almost three months now. This is the last of the Paris photos, honest.)

On one of our last days in Paris, Teri and I visited Montmartre. After seeing the Sacré Coeur, we wandered through the less touristy area of Montmartre and decided we needed a coffee break. We decided to go into the first cafe we saw, which just happened to be the Cafe des 2 Moulins.

In the film Amélie, the main character (played by Audrey Tatou) works here.

We ended up sitting in the same booth Nino sat in as Amélie wrote on the menu board behind him. Here's Teri, and a little bit of me taking the photo in the mirror:

If you've seen the film, you'll know what goes on behind these doors.
